Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester to evaluate and improve the quality of our web and software applications. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a good understanding of testing methodologies, and the ability to identify bugs and usability issues before release.
Key Responsibilities
- Review software requirements and understand product specifications
- Design, execute, and document test cases and test plans
- Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications
- Identify, report, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools
- Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes
- Conduct regression testing after fixes and updates
- Ensure applications meet quality, performance, and usability standards
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
- 0–3 years of experience in software testing (freshers can apply)
- Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts
- Basic understanding of SDLC & STLC
- Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) is a plus
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Good to Have
- Experience with automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
- Knowledge of API testing (Postman)
- Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodology
